What Clothes Are Leaving My Closet This Season
There’s something about the change of seasons that makes me want to hit the reset button — especially when it comes to my wardrobe. This week, I decided it was time to do a little closet refresh and let go of some pieces that just aren’t serving me anymore.
In my latest YouTube video, I’m taking you behind the scenes as I declutter my closet and share exactly which clothes are leaving this season. From outdated trends to pieces that no longer fit quite right, I’m walking you through what’s getting cleared out and why.
Why I’m Doing a Closet Clean-Out
If you’re anything like me, you know how easy it is to hold onto clothes for “someday.” But I’ve learned that an overstuffed closet makes it harder to actually enjoy getting dressed. This clean-out is all about making space — not just physically, but mentally too — for a new season of style and confidence.
The Pieces I’m Letting Go
All of the items I’m decluttering in this video are from Fashion Nova — and let me be clear, I love Fashion Nova. They really do a great job catering to tall, curvy body types, which I appreciate so much. But not everything can be a winner. All of these pieces had potential — they just didn’t work on me the way I hoped, or I haven’t found the right moment to wear them. Rather than letting them sit in my closet and take up space, I’m clearing them out to make room for pieces I’ll actually reach for this season.
Why You Should Watch
If you’ve been thinking about doing your own seasonal closet clean-out, this video will give you some inspiration (and maybe a little push) to finally do it. It’s a great reminder that it’s okay to let things go — even pieces you spent money on — if they aren’t helping you feel confident and put-together.
